You can set to start recording either straight away or after the countdown of 3, 5, or 10 seconds. You can either record just video or also record audio along with the video.
There is also a video editor to trim or remove a part of the video. You can also adjust the volume, add subtitles, add background music, change speed of video, crop or rotate. You can also covert video to GIF. There is also an option to add subtitles to video.
The app is free and does not come with any in-app purchase. It also has no recording limit and does not show ads. This is the reason, I have added this list at the top place.

AZ Screen Recorder is another good screen recording app for Android. It offers lots of options to change. You can change resolution, frame rate and bit rate. There is no time limit or watermark. You can also customize the timer to stop, change the destination directory to save video and share your recordings. You can also record audio from the mic in screencast video.

Screen Recorder is an ad-supported screen recorder app for Android. It lets you record videos with resolution from 240p to 1080p. You can select frame rate from 24 FPS to 60 FPS and bit rate from 2 Mbps to 15 Mbps. There is also an option to launch game and record your game play.
The app also has a built-in video editor that lets you trim videos and remove a part. It also supports facecam while recording. You can also add text or image to your recording. You can choose to record sound or not. If you are using this app on Xiaomi devices, you need to allow few additional permissions.

Rec is also a good screen recorder app for Android with lots of options to choose from. You can change video resolution, bit rate and duration. You can also choose to record the audio or not. The app also shows screen touches for the duration of your recording. To stop the recording, just shake your device.
It is worth to note that devices running on Android 4.4 requires root. For higher Android versions, it does not require root.
