Google records everything you do on its apps. Be it your Google search queries, visited websites, your location on Maps, YouTube searches, and more data. So, it knows everything about you. So, you can tell Google to automatically clear your YouTube viewing history.

Google will automatically delete your YouTube history after you enable this option. I personally feel that this option is better. It is because it is hard to keep clearing YouTube history from time to time.
