How to Automatically Repeat YouTube Videos

YouTube is one of the most popular source of entertainment where most of spend hours. Not just watching videos, people also use YouTube for listening to songs. What if you liked a song and want it to repeat automatically until you manually stop. If you don’t know, there are few ways of putting a YouTube video on loop. Ways to Automatically Repeat YouTube Videos

Method 1: If you are browsing YouTube on desktop or laptop, you have an official way of doing this, YouTube has actually added an option to set a video in loop in the options menu.

For putting a video on repeat mode, open the video on browser. Now right click on the video player. If you are using a computer with touchscreen, long press on the video. In the menu, you should see the option Loop. Click on it and a check mark should appear next to the option.

Now your current video will repeat automatically as soon as it ends. To stop the repeat, you should follow the same steps. Right click on the video layer and click on the Loop option once again. This time, the check mark will disappear to notify that Loop for the video has been disabled.

Method 2: If you are using a smartphone, you have no default option in YouTube app for lopping a video. So, you need to follow a different way.

Open any web browser you use and visit YouTube.com. Here, open the video you want to repeat. Now tap on Chrome menu icon and select “Desktop site”. When it loads the desktop site, long tap on video player and select the Loop. Now enjoy the music or video.

Now you can even minimize the Chrome app, it will keep playing the song.

This method works on Android and iOS both smartphones.

Method 3: If you are using iPhone or iPad, there is an app called “YouRepeat“. The app is free but with occasional advertisements. If you want the advertisement free experience, there is also a paid version. Just install the app and search for the video you want to watch. select the video from the search and it will play it on a loop for as long as you wish. It also has an option to set the limit to the number of times the YouTube video repeats.
