Apple’s iPhone is known for its impressive camera performance. Each year, Apple improves the camera in terms of both photography and videography. There are a few music videos and shot movies that have been shot on iPhone. It shows how well the camera of iPhone does. If I talk about photography, burst mode plays an important role in capturing desired shots in moving scenarios. Take an example of an in-air pose or an action shot. If you are not using burst photo mode, you have to hit the shutter button at the perfect movement. If you miss, you won’t get the desired shot. But Most iPhone users don’t know how to capture photos in Burst Mode on an iPhone.

Burst Mode is the camera mode that keeps capturing photos in quick succession while holding the shutter button. You can then check all the photos and save the best one. Depending on the phone’s camera app, burst mode captures 10-20 photos in a second. So, it is perfect for taking photos of dynamic objects or sports action. If you also want to capture photos in burst mode on your iPhone, you need to first enable it.

Open the Settings app, scroll down to Camera and tap on it. Now enable the option Use Volume Up for Burst.

After enabling the Burst mode in the camera, Open the camera app and hold the Volume up button. It will keep c capturing photos in Burst mode until you release the button. All the photos from a single burst will be grouped together in the Photos app.

For selecting a single shot from the Burst, tap the Select option at the bottom side. Now swipe left and right to view every burst photo. Keep selecting shots that you want to save a separate photo and then click on Done at the top right corner.

Not sure why Apple has disabled the option by default. At least it is there. You can manually enable it if you usually make use of Burst shots. You can alternatively capture Live Photo to capture dynamic moments because you want watch them later. Most people prefer making videos or slo-mo of such scenarios.
