Change Chrome’s language in desktop browser for Windows, Mac and Linux

Here are the steps to change the language in Google Chrome.

Step 1: Tap on Menu icon (three horizontal lines) at upper right corner of the browser. If you are using Mac, you can GO to Chrome menu located at top left side and select Preferences.

Now Scroll down and click on “Show advanced settings”. The. Look for “Languages”.

Here, you can add languages you want to use. Tap on Add Languages link and then select the language you want to use in Chrome.

Then you can either remove the other languages or move your language at the top of the list. It is because it uses order. For moving your language at the tip, tap on three vertical dots icon in front of your desired language and the select “Move to the top”.

After that, close the Google Chrome to apply changes and then open it again.

You can also select the checkbox in front of “Offer to translate pages in this language”. After this, Chrome will ask you to translate all the pages of other languages to this language.
