How To Compose Email in Local language In Gmail

Very few people know that they can now write emails in their local languages in Gmail. Gmail has now added an Input Tool that comes with more than 100 language supports. You will surely find your local language in the tool.

So in India, now you can compose emails in Hindi, Bangla, Tamil, Telugu and many more local languages.
For using this new feature, you will need to enable input tools from settings.

Follow these steps to enable input tools
Step 1: Login in your Gmail account and click on gear icon, then settings to go Gmail settings page.
Step 2: In general tab, enable the Input tools in the language section.
Step 3: click on save button to save the changes.

After these three steps, you will be able to see the language tool option in Gmail. Now follow these steps to compose email in your local language

Step 1: Login to your Gmail account and go to compose new mail.
Step 2: Here click find language tools button just before the gear icon.

Step 3: To add more local languages in this, click on Input Tool Settings. A new dialogue box will open with more than 100 languages.

Step 4: Select the language and click on right arrow key to add language. To change the order click on up and down arrow keys at the top right side of the box. Save the settings.
Step 5: Now select the input language and then start writing the mail.

For few languages, Google has also added a virtual keyboard for typing.
