Snapchat users have been using a 3D avatar for a long time. But not many people know that Instagram also has a similar option. You can make an avatar on Instagram and use it. In this article, I will explain how you can create and use an avatar on Instagram.

Meta, the parent company of Instagram, added Avatars in Messenger back in 2019. Now the company has introduced the same to Instagram. You can customize the avatar by selecting face shape, skin tone, hairstyle, lip color, and more. You can also select the outfits of your avatar.

How to create Instagram Avatar

Open the Instagram app and visit your profile. On the profile page, tap the hamburger menu at the top right corner. Then select Settings and go to Account. On Account’s page, tap Avatar.
