How to Delete Apps in iOS 13 and iPadOS


Apple has again slightly changed the way how you delete the app on your iPhone or iPad. So you may find your self in a bit of trouble if you don’t know how to delete an app from your phone or iPad. If you just bought any of the models from iPhone 11 series, you must be wondering how to delete an app from iPhone 11iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro max. The same case is with the new iPad.

Normally, what you will do is press and hold on an app icon but it in place of all apps starting to wiggle, it will show you a popup menu. This change has been done due to the newly added Haptic Touch menu to all apps. So, there’s a slight change in the way to delete apps.

Here is a simple tutorial on how to delete apps in iOS 13 and iPadOS. You just need to follow these steps.

  • Step 1: Press and hold on any app icon.
  • Step 2: Keep holding even if the Haptic Touch menu appears.
  • Step 3: After some seconds, you see all the icons start to wiggle. Now tap on the X icon at on the app icon that you want to delete.

One more thing you will notice that the Haptic Touch menu on all the app icons will have at least two options including Share and Rearrange Apps. When you tap on the Rearrange Apps option, app icons will start their wiggle. Now you can tap on the X icon to delete any app.
