How To Delete Your Netflix Viewing History

Netflix is one of the most popular online video streaming service offering lots of exclusive video content. You have movies and exclusive TV series to watch. Like YouTube, Netflix also records watch history. So, you can check what you saw in past. If you are sharing the Netflix account with your friends or family members, they can also access your watch history to know what you saw in past.

Netflix also pins the TV series or movie that you have no finished watching. So either you finish it or it will keep showing that on your home screen. The other way to get rid of it is delete the your viewing history.

Delete Netflix Viewing History

Log in to your Netflix account and then click at your profile icon at the top right corner of the screen. In the drop down menu options, select ‘Account’. Now in account settings page, scroll down to the bottom of page until you see “My Profile” section. Here, click on “Viewing activity“.

This is the section where you can check the TV shows and movies you watched on Netflix in past. Here, you see two tabs, Watching and Rating. One is what you watch and other is what you rated.

In every entry, you see a delete icon at the end. There is no option to delete all. You need to click on delete icon in front of an entry.

When you delete an entry related to a TV series, it gives you an option to remove all entries of that TV series. See the “Remove Series?” option.

It will take up to 24 hours to delete watch history from all the devices you use. Most of the times, it takes much lesser time than 24 hours.
