How to Enable Dark Mode on YouTube Android App

Few months back, YouTube added a Dark mode for web. Later it was rolled out for iOS users. Now, YouTube has finally rolled out the dark mode for Android app users as well. You can enable the dark mode for better YouTube experience.

Before you do anything, make sure you are running the latest version of YouTube app on your phone. You should be on 13.35.51 version or newer. For this, open Play Store app and search for YouTube app. If it shows update option, update it. If you don’t see update, it means you are already on the latest version.
Enable Dark Mode on YouTube Android App
If you are on the latest version, you can follow these steps.
Open YouTube app and tap on your profile picture at the upper-right corner. Here select “Settings” and then choose “General”.
Here, see the option “Dark theme”. Enable it.
Now your YouTube apps’s background will be dark and text will be white.
