How to find Latitude and Longitude Coordinates of a place Using Google Maps

Google Maps is one of the most useful apps or services we use on a daily basis. It helps us locate a place, router, and estimated time to reach there. It was launched back on Feb 8, 2005. Gradually, Google has improved it a lot to make it easier to find a place nearby and get more information. Similarly, you can use Google Maps to know the Latitude and Longitude Coordinates of a place in case you need it. In this article, I will tell you how to find Latitude and Longitude Coordinates of any place using Google Maps.

If you are using Google Maps on a desktop browser, it is really easy to locate the Latitude and Longitude Coordinates of any place. Just click anywhere on maps and it will show you the Latitude and Longitude Coordinates.

You can search for any place on Maps and then click on any specific point to know the exact latitude or longitude information.

You can also use Google Maps mobile app on Android or iPhone to learn the exact GPS coordinates of any location.
On Android
Just long tap on any place and you will see the GPS coordinates on the search box at the top. See the latitude and longitude information in the screenshot.

On iOS
The way of finding latitude and longitude on the iOS app is also similar but the information is not available in the search box. You will need to tap the “Dropped Pin” box at the bottom and it will bring up an information menu with GPS coordinates.

If you are using iPad, the way of locating GPS co-ordinates is the same.
