How To Fix if iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Touch Screen Not Working
Recently I faced a problem with my iPhone 6 Plus. I found that the touch of the phone was not working anymore. So, I couldn’t do anything on it. I tried to restart but it also asks me to tap on screen to power off. This kind of problem can be because of two reasons: software and hardware. If it is a hardware problem, you will have to go to Apple customer care stores for screen replacement. But it could be a software problem. So, you must first troubleshoot for the software problems from your end. In this article, I will tell you how to troubleshoot if your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus touchscreen is not responding due to software issues.

Solution 1:
Force restart may solve the issue in most of the cases. So, try it first. Press home button and power button simultaneously for around 10 seconds and it will automatically restart.
In my case, this fixed the problem in first reboot. But few users reported that they got the screen working after trying this solution 3 times. So, do not lose hope and try for at least 3 times.
Solution 2:
If the above method couldn’t help you, try to update iOS of your iPhone. If your iPhone is already running on newer version of iOS, then try to restore it. You can do both these things from iTunes. Restore is the last iPhone. Before using the restore, I recommend you to take back up of your device by using the backup option in below part of iTunes.
