How to get Always On Display on iPhone

Always-on Display has been on Android devices for years, but Apple has yet to add it to iPhones. If you are one of the iPhone users who like the concept of Always-on Display and want it in your iPhone, this article is for you. Even if Apple has not yet added the Always On Display on iPhone, you can still enable it on your iPhone using an app. Today, I am going to show you how to get the Always On Display on iPhone.
Download and install the OLEDX app on your iPhone. When you open the app, it shows you the sample Always-on Display with Settings option at the top left corner of the display. If you don’t see the Settings option, tap anywhere on the display. Now, tap on the Settings icon to customize the Always-on display screen.
You can set to display time, data, weather, battery information, time zone, clock, and more.

OLEDX is an app and you need to open the app to enter into Always On Display.
If you lock your phone, Always On screen will go away. You can enable the Guided Access to keep using OLEDX app even after the iPhone is locked. You can also set Auto-Sleep to Never and then open the OLEDX app to keep using Always On Display until you manually close the app.
OLEDX uses the AMOLED display of the iPhone to replicate Always-on like screen but it doesn’t work as you want it to because of restrictions in iOS. You need to enter the app manually for getting Always-on display. That’s the only thing you need to keep using until Apple decides to offer Always-on display feature in iOS.
