How to lock Facebook Messenger on iPhone with Face ID

Facebook has finally enabled the option to lock your Messenger conversations using the Face ID on iPhone or iPad. So, you can add an extra layer of security on Messenger to keep your conversations safe. If you are not sure how to enable Face ID lock on your Messenger app for iPhone, keep reading.

Step 1: Open the Messenger app on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: Tap on your profile icon at the top left corner and then select Privacy.

Step 4: Now tap on App Lock and then enable the Toggle saying Require Face ID.

Step 5: Messenger app will now ask permission to use Face ID. Tap Ok to allow it.

Step 6: Now it asks you to select how frequently the app should ask for Face ID verification.
