TrueCaller is a popular caller id app that has recently added an option to make voice calls to other Truecaller users. Now, this VoIP feature is available to all users globally. So, you can use TrueCaller to make voice calls over mobile data or WiFi. This feature is called TrueCaller Voice. If you are not sure how to do this, this guide will help you.
In this article, I will tell you how to make voice calls on Truecaller. The company has added TrueCaller Voice icon on several screens such as call logs, SMS Inbox, contact profile and after call screen. So, you have several quick ways to make VoIP calls.
Before I tell you how to make voice calls on TrueCaller, you should know that just installing TrueCaller won’t work. For using this feature, you will have to install and create an account by verifying your phone number. Until you do this, you will not see any option for making calls.
In this article, I am taking example of Profile page. When you are on a profile page, you will see an option saying “Voice”. See the screenshot below.
You just need to tap on this icon to make voice call. You will also see this option on differenet screens as I said above.
If you don’t this Voice option, you can wait for a week. This feature is being rolled out slowly and will take few days to reach to all.
TrueCaller began as caller id app but it has added lots of features recently. In India, this app even added the UPI payment option for letting users making an account to account payments. Not just account payments, users can also recharge different services and pay bills using the TrueCaller app.
Now TrueCaller is competing directly against WhatsApp that also offers audio calls and is working to bring payment option. TrueCaller has primary user base in India and it is trying hard to give users more options for making one app for many things.
