How to record the screen on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Apple’s iOS comes with a native screen recording option. This option works well, so you do not need to install any third-party application for screen recording purposes. If you want to record the screen on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, you can use the built-in screen recorder. In this article, I will tell you how you can use the native screen recording option of iOS for recording screen of iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

Record the screen on iOS
For of all, you need to add the Screen Recording option in the Control Center. For this, Go to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls, then tap + next to Screen Recording.

Now whenever you want to record screen, you need to open Control centre. In iPhone X or later or iPad with iOS 12 or later, or iPadOS, Swipe down rom upper-right corner of the screen. IN older iPhone models Swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen.

In Control Center, tap on the recording icon. It will wait for the three-second countdown before starting the recording.
To stop the recording, open the Control Center tap the red status bar at the top of your screen and tap Stop.

It is always recommended to put your phone in Do Not Disturb mode while using screen recording feature. So, notifications, alerts, calls, and messages don’t appear on the display while you are recording video of the screen.
You can always edit the screen recording using the native video editor on the iOS. If you want better editing experience, you can use iMovie on iPhone or send the video to Mac or Windows PC for editing on big screen.
