If you are interested in keeping your Google Drive app to prevent unauthorized access to your files and photos, keep reading. In this article, I will tell you how to enable Face ID for Google Drive app.

Open Google Derive app and then tap the hamburger icon located at the upper-left corner. Here, tap ‘Settings’ and go to ‘Privacy Screen’. Turn on the toggle switch to enable the Privacy Screen.

It will enable the Face ID or Touch ID depending on the iPhone you are using. Next time when you try to open the Google Drive app on your iPhone, it will ask for Face ID or Touch ID authentication.

The app also lets you select the the time after which the Drive requires authentication. Options include immediately, 10 seconds, 1 minutes and 10 minutes. You can select the delay if you don’t want Drive app not to ask for the re-authentication immediately after you close the app.
