How to stop TeamViewer from starting at startup

Teamviewer is a popular remote access software used to control a remote computer. I use it personally to help my friends when they face issues on their computers. Several customer support people also use to troubleshoot issues remotely. If you install TeamViewer, it starts automatically at startup. As soon as my Macbook boots and is being ready to use, I see Teamviewer running. Obviously, I don’t use this software daily. So, there is no point in running Teamviewer and let it use my system’s RAM and CPU for no reason. When I checked the login items of my MacBook, it wasn’t there. So, how to stop it from running at startup? The software does the same on the Windows system. It starts at a startup. It also becomes irritating. Stop TeamViewer from starting automatically at startup on macOS
Open TeamViewer and click on the TeamViewer menu at the top left corner of the screen. Now tap on Preferences.

In General Tab, Uncheck the checkbox of option “Start TeamViewer with System”.

At last click on Apply button to save the changes.
Next time if you start your Macbook, TeamViewer will not start automatically.
Stop TeamViewer from starting automatically at startup on Windows
I recently Installed TeamViewer on my Windows PC and surprisingly it wasn’t starting automatically at startup. If it does on your system, you can follow the given steps to stop it from starting automatically.
Open TeamViewer, Click Extras and then Options to open Options window.

In General tab, See checkbox “Start TeamViewer with Windows”. You have to disable the checkbox.

Now TeamViwer will stop starting automatially on startup.
