How to Turn On Hands-Free Siri in iOS 9

In iOS 9, Apple has made Siri smarter. If you do not have free hand, you can also activate Siri just by saying ‘Hey Siri’. But this will only work if you have phone plugged in and this feature is enable. In iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, you also do not need the device plugged in to say ‘Hey Siri’ and say voice commands. But for older devices, it is necessary requirement. So, here are the steps to activate Hands-free Siri in iOS 9.

How to Turn On Hands-Free Siri in iOS 9

Open the Settings, tap on General and then tap on then tap on ‘Siri’. Here, you need to enable the option by selecting ‘Allow Hey Siri’ option.

Then it will ask you to speak few voice commands so that Siri can understand your voice. It is a 5 step process.

Once you are done, you can use the hands-free Siri.

Now, plugged in your device and say ‘Hey Siri.’ And it will be activated automatically to listen your voice commands.
